We inform you about an interesting virtual Power BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE meeting, that will take place on Friday, 1st December 2023 for free.
The participation is allowed to a maximum of 100 students. Applications must be sent until the 15th on November using the following link accessible only with your @studenti.unipi.it email: tinyurl.com/power-bi-course.
Registrations will be collected on a first-come, first-served basis.
Teams
The instructor will create a Microsoft Teams Team and will invite the attendees.
Power Business Intelligence Licences
Power Business Intelligence Desktop is used to create the data model and the visualizations. This software is for free. Only when it comes to publishing and sharing the reports within the organization a “Power BI Pro” Licence will be necessary. Everybody is entitled to get a Pro trial licence for the period of 60 days. The students do not need to register for it beforehand, we can do it during the workshop.
Installation
The installation instructions will be sent to the students along with the link to the Teams Meeting a couple of days before the course takes place.
Recognition ECTS
The Degree Council will recognize 1 ECTS/CFU as free choice activity in the Study Plan with the certificate of participation. Students should fill in the recognition form at https://www.unipi.it/index.php/servizi-di-segreteria/item/1490-riconoscimenti-crediti-formativi
