Curricular internships / stages are training experiences whose purpose is improving the learning and training process of the student with study and work. The performance of the curricular training internship does not give rise to any relationship of work.
The curricular training internships / stages are provided in the study plan of the Degree Course regulation and they are aimed at the recognition of ects/cfu, upon request of the student and subject to evaluation and approval by the Degree Course Council.
In particular, student can take internship:
- of 50 hours, corresponding to 2 cfu/ects, if enrolled until the academic year 2021/2022;
- of 150 hours, corresponding to 6 cfu/ects in the free choise activities, if enrolled from the academic year 2022/2023.
Please check your study programme according to the year of enrollment.
CONVENTION
Before submitting the request for activation of the internship, the student must verify that the agreement has been stipulated with the Department. The companies affiliated with the Department can be consulted on: https://tirocini.adm.unipi.it/ “SEZIONE RISERVATA AGLI STUDENTI/LAUREATI” –> “RICERCA AZIENDE CONVENZIONATE” –> then select the Department of Economics&Management.
If the agreement has not been stipulated, the host Company / Organization has to connect to http://tirocini.adm.unipi.it/ “SEZIONE RISERVATA ALLE AZIENDE/ENTI” –> “PROPOSTA DI CONVENZIONE CON UN DIPARTIMENTO DELL’UNIVERSITÀ PER TIROCINI CURRICULARI ” and follow the procedure.
The Company / Organization must:
- Print the agreement in duplicate and the “form” which is an integral part of the agreement;
- Apply a bill of Euro 16.00 in both copies of the agreement;
- Send both copies by post to the Internship Office – Mrs Federica Rognini –
Department of Economics and Management – Via C. Ridolfi, 10 56124 Pisa.
ACTIVATION OF THE INTERNSHIP AND TRAINING PROJECT
The request for the internship can be made by students with a minimum of 87 CFU/ECTS gained at least 30 days before starting the same. The Training Project must be collected by the student from the Company / Institution, in triplicate; collecting signatures (company tutor, academic tutor, trainee) is the responsibility of the student who must submit a hard copy to the Department internship office – Mrs. Federica Rognini.
N.B. Students who want to recognize their credits (150 hours) as student’s free choice must indicate this in the appropriate section of the training project. Students who do not intend to be recognised educational credits must indicate this in the appropriate section of the Training Project specifying: “NO CREDIT REQUIRED”. The Degree Course Council will define the methods of carrying out the activity and verifying it in the resolution of approval of the training project.
Students can start the activity only after the resolution of approval of the Degree Course Council (to be requested from the Internship Office).
FINAL REPORT AND ATTENDANCE SHEET
(MANDATORY ONLY FOR STUDENTS WITH REQUEST FOR RECOGNITION OF CFU)
At the end of the internship, the student will have to:
- draw up a written report on the activity carried out (downloadable here);
- present the attendance sheet ( downloadable here).
N.B It is recommended that the student check that the above documents have been duly signed by the company tutor for the relative certification. Please note that the attendance sheet may be requested by the academic tutor at any time during the internship period; for this reason, it is recommended to fill it in daily. Any alternative methods of certification of the activity will be accepted only if explicitly indicated in the resolution of approval of the Degree Course Council.
METHOD OF RECOGNITION OF CFU
(MANDATORY ONLY FOR STUDENTS WITH REQUEST FOR RECOGNITION OF CFU)
In order to recognize the credits, the student must submit the above documentation to the Bachelor’s webmail (mbe@ec.unipi.it), putting in copy the President of the Degree Course (prof. Riccardo Giannetti; riccardo.giannetti@unipi.it)). The President, in the event of a positive evaluation, will then register the required credits. The evaluation of the report and the recording of the CFU must be requested from the President of the Degree Course during the exam sessions.
